Coaching many clients over the years, our team realized that we were missing a huge piece of the fitness pie, nutrition. To optimize our clients' results, the 8th Street Nutrition Method was born. 

When it comes to nutrition, 8th Street Fitness supports a macro-nutrient based solution. This promotes long term dietary changes, instead of short term changes seen by many unstable fad diets. The three macro-nutrients are protein, fat, and carbohydrates. If these are balanced correctly, and food is kept at the proper caloric intake, we can achieve optimal body composition. We believe, that eating must be looked at in a manner that is tailored to the individual, not blanketed for the masses. Proper nutrition should be based off of an individual's activity level, and his or her goals. Whole foods are the best foods to eat while achieving this, and for this reason, we recommend hitting macro-nutrient and caloric intake with meat, vegetables, nuts, seeds, fruits and starches.

What do we do for our nutrition clients?

The first thing we do when we start with a new client, is get a baseline of what his or her life is like. This includes: daily activity levels, exercise regimens, job demands, goals, and his or her current weight, height and age. This information gives us the data we need to come up with a solution for the individual, as we do not have any templates and everything we do is unique to each client. After our initial assessment, you will receive a personalized macronutrient profile tailored to fit your needs and the support of one of our coaches on your journey.

What should I expect from my coach?

Our coaches care about you and your needs. At 8th Street, we strive to provide the best customer service possible. Your coach can be reached via telephone, text, email, or social media. It is our job to be available to you as a great resource and make your journey to self betterment a breeze. If you have any questions at all, your coach will be there for you. We want you to learn, not just blindly follow a program.

Will I achieve my goals?

At 8th Street Fitness, we are determined to help you reach your goals and will work diligently to make them happen. As with all things, level of dedication to the program will dictate the level of achievement an individual will have. Every person’s body is different and it can take time, but if you follow the program, you will make progress and continue to improve.
